Justin Bieber Cancels 'Purpose' Tour Dates and John Mayer Supported Him on Twitter

Justin Bieber has performed more than 150 shows in 40 countries across six continents and 16 months on his “Purpose” world tour. But the final 14 scheduled dates were just too much. On Monday, he canceled his remaining concerts for this year. His publicist said “Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”

The reaction to this news from Justin was split among all his social media followers. But Justin got an ally in a fellow musican.

John Mayer wrote in Twitter:

"When someone pulls remaining dates of a tour, it means they would have done real damage to themselves if they kept going. 1/2"

"We've lost so many great artists lately. I give Justin  for realizing it was time to call it. You should too. 2/2"
