#2048: The simple #puzzle game that's very addicting

You think Flappy Bird is addicting? You haven't played 2048 yet. The first time I played it last night before going to bed, I ended up sleeping at 7am. You won't notice time flies by you that quick!

The objective of the game is simple. Connect 2 tiles with the same number to add it up. When you reach the 2048 number, you solved the puzzle. Simple? Well, goodluck to you!

The puzzle game 2048 is actually an open source game. According to the author, Gabriele Cirulli, the game was inspired by two other similar games called 1024 by Veewo Studio and conceptually similar to Threes by Asher Vollmer.

Since the game is open source, different other 2048 variants came out such as   the doge version. If you don’t know doge, that’s a popular meme. So why not capitalize with it.

I’m still trying to figure out the 2048 strategy play. The highest I reached is 1024 with a score of over 10,000. It seems like the strategy is to connect each similar numbers as fast as you can and put the highest number at the corner.

So basically, as you connect the tiles, put the highest tile in the corner and work your way there to reach 2048.
