It has been an issue with some musicians when audience streams their performance on the internet.
This prompts some venues to ask audience to leave their phones during concerts. Now Apple is working on a technology that will enable venues to disable phones photo and video recording capabilities using infrared signal.
It has been learned recently that Apple was just approved of a patent filing that just do that.
The technology could stop people from making illegal recordings at concert venues, in cinemas or theaters.
The patent described how an infrared signal could be fired in places where video recording is prohibited. The phone would detect the signal and either alter what's shown on the screen or shut down its video features completely.
