#News: Boeing 777 airliner crash lands at San Francisco airport

A fireball erupted after the Boeing 777 airliner hit the runway hard around 11:30 a.m., rocked back and forth, spun around, sheered off the plane's tail. Scores of passengers and crew climbed out -- some jumping, others sliding down evacuation chutes as flames and smoke billowed from the aircraft's windows. 2 died, 305 survived.

A miracle more weren't killed. And I can't believe some of these passengers!!! A plane broken apart, about to be engulfed in flames, 300+ people trying to get out a few exits - and these people stopped in the aisle to get their luggage??

But she told the San Francisco Chronicle on Sunday that the girl found on the side of the airplane had injuries consistent with having been run over.

"As it possibly could have happened, based on the injuries sustained, it could have been one of our vehicles that added to the injuries, or another vehicle," she told The Chronicle. "That could have been something that happened in the chaos. It will be part of our investigation."

I read somewhere else that the 2 girls who died may have been run over... wow.

While the exact cause will take months to determine, the South Korean Transport Ministry said "the tail of the Asiana flight hit the runway and the aircraft veered to the left out of the runway."

Seems to be a pilot error.

My condolences to the the families of the two girls that died and I wish a speedy recovery to all those injured. This could have been so much worse than it was, I am glad so many survived.

This seems to be a pilot error. Meaning, the person operating the machinery is at fault, for what could have easily been hundreds of deaths.

They should all be thankful it wasn't an Airbus or it could have been shredded to pieces!
